Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 17, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.prettygooddetail.com (the “Site”) and the mobile auto detailing services provided by Pretty Good Car Detailing LLC, doing business as Pretty Good Detailing (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or receiving a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide mobile vehicle detailing services in Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding communities. Services may include interior detailing, exterior detailing, ceramic coatings, paint correction, pet hair removal, shampooing, odor treatment, and related vehicle care services. The exact scope, price, timing, and availability of any appointment are based on the quote, booking request, text, email, invoice, or other written confirmation for that job.

We are a mobile service business and do not operate a public storefront. Appointments are performed at the service address you provide, such as your home, workplace, or another location where you have permission for us to work.

2. Quotes and estimates

Online, phone, text, and email estimates are based on the vehicle type, condition, pet hair level, staining, requested services, photos, and other information you provide. Estimates are not a guarantee until we confirm the appointment and scope. The final price may change if the vehicle is larger, dirtier, more stained, has heavier pet hair, needs shampooing or odor treatment, contains personal belongings, or otherwise differs from what was described.

If we identify a material price or scope change before starting, we will explain the change and ask for approval. If you decline the revised scope or price, we may cancel the service or perform only the work we can complete within the agreed scope.

Prices shown on the Site may exclude applicable sales tax, payment-processing fees, optional add-ons, and charges for work that was not included in the original request. Taxes and fees are applied when required by law or disclosed at checkout, invoice, or confirmation.

3. Scheduling and cancellations

  • Booking requests submitted through the Site are requests, not confirmed appointments, until we accept and confirm them by text, email, phone, or another written message.
  • Mobile appointments are scheduled around route, drive time, weather, vehicle condition, service duration, and technician availability. We may offer arrival windows instead of exact arrival times.
  • You may reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment at no cost up to 24 hours before the appointment window unless a different cancellation policy is stated in your confirmation.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed appointments, inaccessible vehicles, unsafe work locations, or incorrect service addresses may be subject to a reasonable trip fee or cancellation fee.
  • Weather, unsafe conditions, emergencies, equipment issues, or route delays may require us to reschedule. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible if that happens.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact information, a valid service address, vehicle details, requested services, and any known condition issues before the appointment.
  • Make sure we have permission to work at the service address and that the vehicle is legally and safely parked where detailing can be performed.
  • Remove money, valuables, personal documents, firearms, child seats, loose belongings, fragile items, and items you do not want moved or handled. Items left in the vehicle may limit the work we can perform and may result in an additional belongings fee.
  • Disclose excessive pet hair, bodily fluids, mold, pests, smoke odor, chemical spills, biohazards, sharp objects, broken glass, aftermarket electronics, loose trim, leaks, or other conditions that could affect safety, pricing, or results.
  • Keep pets, children, and bystanders safely away from the work area while equipment, cords, hoses, products, or tools are in use.

5. Vehicle condition and detailing limits

We use professional products and reasonable care, but vehicle detailing cannot restore every vehicle to a new condition. Results depend on the vehicle’s age, materials, prior care, stains, contamination, sun exposure, wear, modifications, and pre-existing damage.

  • Some stains, dye transfer, ink, rust, burns, bleach marks, adhesive residue, odors, pet damage, mold, mildew, scratches, oxidation, clear-coat failure, and interior wear may be permanent or may require services beyond the booked detail.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, weak or failing materials, loose trim, cracked plastics, peeling coatings, failing clear coat, worn leather, failing headliners, old tint, aftermarket wiring, warning lights, water leaks, or mechanical issues that existed before service.
  • We may document vehicle condition before, during, or after the appointment. If a condition makes the work unsafe or likely to cause damage, we may decline, stop, or modify the service.
  • Ceramic coatings, paint correction, odor treatment, stain extraction, pet hair removal, and shampooing may require a separate quote or additional time and are not included unless stated in your confirmed scope.

6. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the job unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking or invoice. You are responsible for the agreed service price, approved add-ons, applicable sales tax, payment processing charges if disclosed, and any cancellation, trip, or belongings fee that applies under these Terms.

If payment is not made when due, we may suspend future services, send reminders, recover reasonable collection costs where allowed, and pursue any remedies available under Nebraska law.

7. Workmanship and satisfaction

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the result, contact us within 48 hours of the service and we will return to inspect the issue. If the issue is caused by our workmanship and falls within the original scope, we may re-clean or correct the affected area at no additional charge.

This satisfaction promise does not apply to permanent stains, pre-existing damage, odors or defects outside our reach, services declined by you, issues reported after 48 hours, or conditions that were not disclosed before the appointment.

8. Photos, uploads, and media

Photos you submit through the Site, text, email, or other channels may be used to prepare a quote, assess vehicle condition, provide service, document the appointment, and communicate with you about the job. Please do not upload photos that include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the request.

With your permission, we may take before-and-after photos or videos of our work for training, marketing, portfolio, and case-study purposes. We will not intentionally publish your address, license plate, or identifying personal information without your consent.

9. Communications

By submitting a form, requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or contacting us, you authorize us to contact you about your request by phone, text message, email, and similar channels. Message and data rates may apply. Transactional messages may include quote replies, booking confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, invoices, follow-ups, and service-related questions.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for checking messages related to your appointment. If you no longer want non-essential messages, follow the opt-out instructions in the message or contact us directly.

10. Site use and intellectual property

The Site, including its text, images, layout, graphics, logos, service descriptions, and other content, is owned by us or used with permission. You may use the Site for personal, lawful purposes related to learning about, requesting, or booking our services. You may not interfere with the Site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy content at scale, submit false information, or use the Site for unlawful or harmful purposes.

The Site may include links, maps, forms, payment tools, analytics, scheduling tools, or other third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for third-party websites or platforms we do not control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nebraska law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, a quote, an appointment, or a service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of use, diminished value, or replacement costs, except where such limits are not allowed by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, a quote, an appointment, or a service will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Lancaster County, Nebraska, unless a different venue is required by applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
